I, Ginny Liz, became a MIL 5 years ago and was blessed again with another DIL a couple of years later.  In addition to enjoying two adult sons, I love to hike, bike rail trails, raft down the Rio Balsa, make “blubarb” pies, put my ducks in a row, and chase hot air balloons.  The perfect day would be one sitting lakeside with a fizzy lemonade, watching the sailboats sweep by while reading a book about climbing in the Himalayas.  With my husband, of course.  He’s been my best friend for more than 35 years.

I set out to explore the MIL/DIL relationship in order to figure out great ways to bond with my DILs and have the most fun with them and their husbands while the time lasts.  I’d be honored if you would join me on this adventure by commenting on what you read and, also, what you observe, experience and are working toward in your own MIL/DIL relationship.
